Step two — Disputes Tribunal
For eligible claims under $30,000 (or $40,000 where parties agree), the Disputes Tribunal offers an informal hearing. Information is available from the Ministry of Justice at disputestribunal.govt.nz.
Commerce Commission
If your concern is about misleading conduct or unfair practices in trade, you may lodge information with the Commerce Commission at comcom.govt.nz.
